Interdisciplinary Functional Dentistry: A Kinesiological and Posturological Approach
Interdisciplinary Functional Dentistry: a Kinesiological and Posturological Approach
Course overview
In this course, you will gain knowledge of kinesiology and posturology that you can use for the interdisciplinary treatment of patients with muscular dysfunctions and occlusal disorders
You will learn:
How posturological, kinesiological and craniofacial problems affect bite, occlusion and breathing
How to detect clinical manifestations in the oral cavity of lumbar, cervical, thoracic, hip and muscular pathologies
How to perform diagnostic studies:
TFL muscle tests
Basic kinesiology muscle test
Localization test and challenge test
Morphostatic postural analysis.
Dynamic postural analysis.
The course is aimed at dentists and kinesiologists.
