Course overview

- There are many different materials and combination of materials that can be used to make implant hybrid restorations.

A popular one that has gained significant traction recently is Crystal Ultra.

Crystal Ultra is a nano-ceramic material that bridges the gap between plastic denture teeth and zirconia.

Although significantly stronger than acrylic, it still must be supported by a frame that it can bond to and be treated correctly for success.

Farley are Prosthodontists in Mesa, Arizona where they utilize this material as a Superstructure that is bonded onto a non-metal framework such as Pekkton or Trilor.

The beauty of pairing such materials together is that if treated correctly, a strong bond can be created between them and thus making a very strong, esthetic restoration that gets its strength from the sum of the parts.
