Video Lectures
Video Lecture 1
Immediate Loading: principles
This introductory lecture comprises a review of the literature published by Dr Degidi in over
30 years of clinical experience. It addresses then an analysis of the basic principles at the
basis of immediate loading in oral implantology.
Video Lecture 2
Immediate Loading: check list
This video lecture provides a list of the components necessary to successfully carry out
immediate loading protocols as described by Dr. Degidi.
This first part of the checklist deals with all the characteristics of the abutments and
designs mandatory to handle single and multiple restorations, temporary and definitive
restorations; the components necessary to stabilize the abutments by means of wires and
bending instruments are dealt with according to the Welding method devised by Dr. Degidi.
Video Lecture 3
Immediate Loading: technology checklist
In this second part of the section dedicated to immediate loading checklist the WeldOne
concept and technology are introduced to the learner. WeldOne allows to assemble
titanium components in the oral cavity to directly stabilize both the temporary and
permanent prosthesis.
Video Lecture 4
Pro-shell manufacturing: analogic technique
Dr. Marco Degidi, together with the technician Gianluca Sedinolfi, shows how to make
prosthetic shells using an analogic/manual technique. The realization of the shells allows to
manage the immediate load easily and cost-effectively, and represents a key element of Dr.
Degidi's working philosophy.
Video Lecture 5
Pro-shell manufacturing: digital technique
Dr. Marco Degidi, together with the technician Gianluca Sedinolfi, shows how to make
prosthetic shells via digital workflow and technologies, including CAD-CAM and the direct
printing technique. Finally, the pros and cons of the above-mentioned techniques will be
thoroughly analyzed, as well as the digital workflow created by Dr. Marco Degidi's team.
Video Lecture 6
Pro-shell manufacturing: single tooth
This lecture will teach you how to produce prosthesis for single elements starting from
commercially available teeth, thanks to a a simple, convenient and time effective approach,
aimed at granting a ready to use prosthesis in a few hours for those patients with missing
teeth in the esthetic area. You will also learn how to produce single tooth shells, both direct
and indirect, via digital workflow, and when to use shells made with hybrid or integral
ceramics.
Video Lecture 7
Immediate Loading single tooth: risk or benefit?
The immediate load of the single element is the most frequent procedure a surgeon meets
in his/her daily practice, and must be addressed with a predictable, minimally invasive and
inexpensive treatment plan. In this lecture we learn how to manage the single implant
immediate loading, when it is better to avoid immediate loading, what are the inclusion
and exclusion criteria and how to manage also the post-extraction sockets according to the
different clinical studies carried out by Dr. Marco Degidi.
Video Lecture 8
Immediate Loading single tooth: post-extraction
The management of healed post-extraction sockets does not represent the ideal clinical
situation for immediate loading restoration of single elements.
In this lesson you will learn how to manage post-extraction sites with immediate loading.
This topic has been extensively addressed by Dr. Degidi's studies, which have made it
possible to define the points that determine success in this technique considered risky and
how to make them reproducible regardless of the clinician operator.
Video Lecture 9
Immediate Loading single tooth: gap free restoration
In this video you will learn how to use the conometric method for the single tooth and
avoid cements and screws for fixing the single tooth components. We will describe the
components for temporary and definitive crowns, as well as how to successfully manage
this revolutionary and time-saving process with immediate benefits for the practice and the
patient.
Video Lecture 10
Immediate Loading: partially edentulous
The immediate loading for patients suffering from partial edentulousness in the anterior
sectors is a real necessity, while the same clinical situation in posterior sectors might allow
the operator not to come up with the prosthesis the very same day. In this lecture we will
learn how to identify all the elements to be taken into consideration - both anatomically
and surgically - in order to achieve maximum stability in post-extraction sockets, and how
to manage the screwed-down implant level and abutment level bridges.
Video Lecture 11
Immediate Loading: anterior partially edentulous
In this lecture you will learn how to manage the prosthetic rehabilitation of anterior sectors
with immediate loading using the conometric concept, as well as how to stabilize multiple
rehabilitations of both temporary and definitive crowns.
Video Lecture 12
Immediate Loading: posterior partially edentulous
In this lecture you will learn how to manage the prosthetic rehabilitation of posterior
sectors with immediate loading using the conometric concept, as well as how to use the
shells and how to stabilize multiple rehabilitations of both temporary and definitive crowns.
Video Lecture 13
Immediate Loading: Full Arches - socket fit or hybrid
In this lecture you will learn how to manage the prosthetic rehabilitation of the edentulous
and terminal dentition patient. The key factors to be taken into consideration and the
decisions to be made will be thoroughly addressed: teeth with pink gums or without gums?
The author presents several clinical cases concerning different rehabilitation treatments,
and discusses the decisions that determined the success.
Video Lecture 14
Immediate Loading: Full Arches - temporary or final
In this second lecture on prosthetic rehabilitation in totally edentulous and terminal
dentition patients we will delve into the choice between temporary prosthesis or
permanent prosthesis. Dr. Degidi introduces an intermediate prosthetic solution he defines
as "durable", for limited but distinctive selection of the immediate load. The author
presents several clinical cases on different rehabilitation treatments and discusses the
decisions that determined the success.
Video Lecture 15
Immediate Loading: Full Arches - screw retained or conometric?
In this third lesson concerning the prosthetic rehabilitation in totally edentulous and
terminal dentition patients, you will learn when to choose between implant-level screw
retained prosthetic rehabilitation, traditional abutment-level prosthesis or conometric
rehabilitation protocols. The lecture will also provide you with indications concerning
techniques and procedures.
Video Lecture 16
Immediate Loading: Full Arches - mandible critical thinking
In this fourth lesson on prosthetic rehabilitation in totally edentulous and terminal
dentition patients, you will learn more about the different strategies to make a Durable
prosthesis, as defined by Dr. Degidi.
The determining factors for the success of the implant-supported prosthesis with
immediate loading - especially relevant in the management of critical situations and
complex cases- will be at the very center of the discussion, with particular regards on
prosthetic cantilever management, the strength of the structure and the antagonist arch
analysis.
Video Lecture 17
Immediate Loading: Full Arches - maxilla part 1
This lecture on the prosthetic rehabilitation of the fully edentulous patient shows a full-arch
implant restoration with immediate loading in the upper jaw.
Dr. Degidi discusses the key factors at the basis of the rehabilitation treatment of the
edentulous upper jaw as well as the most effective strategies according to his direct clinical
experience.
Video Lecture 18
Immediate Loading: Full Arches - maxilla part 2
This second lecture on the prosthetic rehabilitation of the completely edentulous maxilla
shows a full-arch implant restoration with immediate loading performed in an atrophic
upper jaw.
Video Lecture 19
Immediate Loading: Full Arches - massively atrophic maxilla
This third lecture on the prosthetic rehabilitation of completely edentulous arches shows a
full-arch implant restoration with immediate loading in a severely atrophic case. The
restoration is carried out using advanced techniques and zygomatic implants.
