Course overview

Course overview:

Despite the rapid development of digital marketing, it is precisely offline channels that continue to play a key role in the decision-making process when choosing a dental clinic. Location, appearance, navigation, recommendations, and local partnerships build trust long before the patient's first visit.

The course is dedicated to modern offline-marketing tools that allow turning the clinic's physical space into an effective patient acquisition channel, building a system of local partnerships, and learning to evaluate the performance of each offline source.

During the course you will learn:

– The phenomenon of local offline and the reasons for its effectiveness in the era of digital marketing
– Creating a strong first impression using facade, navigation, and POSM materials
– Turning the space around the clinic into a source of new patients
– Creating partner networks and B2B programs for a steady flow of inquiries
– Tools for digitizing offline advertising and assessing the effectiveness of each channel
– A comprehensive strategy for integrating offline and online marketing for sustainable clinic growth.

By the end of the course you will be able to build an effective system of offline patient attraction, increase conversion of local traffic, and make marketing decisions based on measurable indicators.

What you will learn

  • Explain why local offline presence builds trust and creates deferred demand among area residents.
  • Design compliant, high-converting clinic signage, POSM, and in-clinic navigation to attract passers-by.
  • Develop targeted distribution plans and staff-led programs for effective printed-materials deployment.
  • Create partnership and tracking systems using QR codes, promo codes, and call tracking to measure offline ROI.

Course lessons

Lesson 1. The phenomenon of local offline: why physical marketing wins in the era of total digitization

Lesson 1 description:

We will begin by dispelling the myth that traditional offline marketing is dead. You will learn why a brand’s physical presence in a patient’s residential area still forms the highest level of trust. We will examine the local specifics of medical marketing and the strategic advantage of the clinic’s “physical anchoring.” You will understand why most competitors’ shift to online opens a “blue ocean” for you on the streets of your area, and study in detail the structure of key local instruments: from neighborhood media to partnership networks.

– Why offline marketing still works excellently and shows high conversion in medicine
– Local specifics of medical business: the patient decision-making radius and features of local geography
– Window of opportunity: while competitors overpay for internet traffic, you capture the most loyal audience on the “ground”
– The effect of physical anchoring: how daily visual contact with the clinic creates deferred demand among area residents
– Channel mathematics: why the cost of acquiring a patient (CAC) through local offline channels is often lower than digital channels
– Map of local marketing: classification of basic instruments (local media, outdoor advertising, POS materials, promotional merchandise and partnership programs).

Lesson 2. Facade, wayfinding and POSM: turning the clinic environment into a patient-converting machine

Lesson 2 description:

The second lesson is a practical guide to setting up physical patient-facing touchpoints. We will start with your signage: we will analyze the legal and marketing requirements that will turn it from a simple board into a powerful advertising medium. You will learn how to correctly use sidewalk signs and portable structures on pedestrian routes. We will work through internal and external POS materials in detail: from leaflet-gifts and targeted programs to sales-focused doctor business cards and interior clinic catalogs.

– Clinic signage as the main free and permanent advertising medium: rules for design, common mistakes and a checklist “what to do right now”
– Stands and portable structures on pedestrian routes: how to lawfully attract traffic at the entrance and along routes of potential patients’ movement
– Anatomy of effective POSM (materials at points of sale): why ordinary leaflets don’t work and what offers they should contain (vouchers, gifts, invitations, reminders)
– Designing a targeted program: where, to whom, by what staff and exactly how to hand out/deliver printed materials
– Modern doctor business card as a retention tool: design rules (portrait, full name, QR code for booking, corporate contact number)
– In-clinic marketing (In-Clinic POSM): navigation, informational magazines, booklets, service catalogs and real photo-stories of patient treatments.

Lesson 3. Partnership networks, B2B programs and digitizing offline advertising

Lesson 3 description:

The final lesson is dedicated to scaling local presence through partnerships and the B2B segment, as well as evaluating effectiveness. You will learn how to negotiate placement of your materials on third-party platforms, how to launch a working referral system "Bring a Friend" and set up partnerships with kindergartens, schools, and fitness centers. We will analyze ethical cooperation with pharmacies without conflicts of interest and implement corporate programs for local businesses. At the end of the lesson you will receive a consolidated table of tools and learn to quantify offline traffic using UTM-tags, QR codes, and call tracking.

– Rules for distribution of materials: defining the target audience of the offer, concluding agency agreements and choosing paid placement formats
– Working with an established database: creating transparent referral programs, segmentation of the database, organizing mailings and strict quality control
– Local cross-marketing: regulations for the work of administrators at partner receptions, participation in district events and organization of outreach examinations
– Niche partnerships: working with kindergartens, schools, sports clubs and fitness centers
– Pharmacy chains: how to build mutually beneficial cooperation with pharmacists without violating medical ethics and conflicts of interest
– Entry into the corporate sector (B2B offline): development of loyalty programs for employees of local enterprises and conducting outreach health lectures
– "On-the-ground" analytics: logic for tracking the effectiveness of offline activities (promo codes, unique QR codes, dedicated phone numbers)
– Offline metrics: what exactly we count (conversion, cost per lead, payback) and how to interpret the obtained results.
